Model: PRPRPH
Removable Plate Heat Exchangers offer high thermal efficiency in a compact, serviceable design - ideal for demanding industrial heating and cooling applications.
The Removable Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) is a modular, high-efficiency solution for transferring heat between two fluids. Constructed by pressing corrugated metal plates into shape and assembling them with support frames and clamping bolts, this design enables easy cleaning, maintenance, and plate replacement. Its openable frame structure supports multiple flow channels, allowing high thermal efficiency while accommodating a wide range of media. Commonly used in industries such as petrochemical processing, food and beverage, central heating, metallurgy, and pharmaceuticals, this unit is engineered for flexibility, long service life, and exceptional performance under pressure.
Key Features
Modular Structure
Easily disassembled for inspection, cleaning, or maintenance.
Wide Material Selection
Plates available in stainless steel, titanium, Hastelloy, and more; suitable for aggressive media and sanitary conditions.
Flexible Gasket Options
Gaskets in NBR, EPDM, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber, and chloroprene to suit a broad temperature and chemical range.
Multiple Fluid Channels
Plates are arranged to manage dual media flow simultaneously, ideal for food, chemical, or energy recovery applications.
High Heat Transfer Efficiency
Corrugated design maximises turbulence and heat exchange, offering up to 7000 W/m²·K.
Advantages
Space Efficient
Requires 1/3 to 1/5 the floor space of traditional shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
Light Weight
Up to 90% lighter than traditional tube exchangers.
Small Temperature Difference Capability
Operates effectively with temperature differences as low as 1°C.
Low Fouling Tendency
High turbulence reduces sediment accumulation, especially in dirty or corrosive media.
Easy to Clean
Both sides of the plates are accessible after removing the tightening bolts.
